Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Solar Maintenance Helper to assist in the routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of solar power systems across Mumbai. The candidate will work under the supervision of senior technicians to ensure solar installations perform optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems (both rooftop and ground-mounted).
- Clean solar panels regularly to remove dirt, dust, and debris to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Check the electrical connections, wiring, and inverters for faults or damage.
- Support in monitoring the performance of solar systems to identify issues like power losses.
- Assist in testing solar batteries, controllers, and other related equipment.
- Help in maintaining site records, checklists, and logs of maintenance activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while working on-site.
- Transport and handle tools and equipment to and from the worksite.
- Report any technical issues to the supervisor for further diagnosis and rectification.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and solar energy technology.
- Experience in maintenance or manual labor is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy tools and materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the solar industry or electrical maintenance is an advantage.
- Knowledge of solar panel cleaning equipment and techniques.
