Job Summary:
We are looking for a physically fit and hardworking Solar Maintenance Helper to assist technicians and engineers in maintaining and servicing solar power systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Visakhapatnam. The role involves field work, basic electrical support, and cleaning of solar panels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cleaning and upkeep of solar panels to ensure optimal performance.
- Support senior technicians during routine maintenance and inspections.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from work locations.
- Perform basic tasks such as tightening bolts, checking cables, and removing debris.
- Follow safety procedures while working at heights or with electrical systems.
- Report any system faults or damage noticed during site visits.
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the site after maintenance work is completed.
- Travel to various project sites within Visakhapatnam as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10th class pass or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of solar systems and electrical safety preferred (training will be provided).
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in solar or electrical work is a plus.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Visakhapatnam.
