Job Summary:
We are hiring an energetic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Chennai. The ideal candidate should have strong customer handling skills and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new leads through cold calls, field visits, social media, and referrals.
- Understand client requirements and propose customized solar solutions.
- Conduct site visits along with technical teams to assess feasibility.
- Prepare quotations, ROI (Return on Investment) analysis, and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Maintain regular communication with clients from inquiry to post-installation support.
- Stay updated with solar industry trends, TANGEDCO regulations, and subsidy policies.
- Maintain CRM entries and submit regular sales reports to management.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Good understanding of basic solar concepts like net metering, solar panels, and inverters.
- Ability to work independently and handle sales pressure.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby areas for client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in solar, electrical, or renewable energy sales.
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu solar policies and local DISCOM procedures.
- Fluency in Tamil and English (spoken and written).
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
