Job Summary:
The Solar Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, pitching solar energy solutions, and closing sales with residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, basic technical understanding of solar systems, and a passion for sustainable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, digital platforms, and referrals.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy and available government subsidies.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate feasibility and gather project requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team to prepare proposals, quotations, and system designs.
- Follow up with clients, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and update CRM with customer interactions.
- Represent the company at local expos, trade shows, or community awareness campaigns.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
- Good understanding of rooftop solar systems, components, and net metering.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, email, and CRM tools.
- Ability to travel across assigned areas in Maharashtra.
Preferred:
- Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license.
- Familiarity with government solar subsidy schemes (MNRE, MEDA).
