Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar rooftop and ground-mounted solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Salem and nearby areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lead generation, client meetings, and closing sales, helping customers transition to clean and cost-effective energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new customer leads through field visits, cold calls, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Meet with potential clients to assess energy needs and explain the benefits of solar solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, ROI (Return on Investment) reports, and pricing based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to conduct site surveys and finalize project feasibility.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure post-sale client support.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide regular sales reports.
  • Stay updated with government subsidies, TANGEDCO policies, and net metering processes.
  • Maintain customer relationships and handle any inquiries or service issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Any graduate (preferably in Engineering, Science, or Commerce).
  • 1–3 years of experience in direct sales; experience in solar, energy, or electrical products is preferred.
  • Knowledge of solar systems and government incentives is an advantage.
  • Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel extensively within the Salem region.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and sales techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of solar energy and electrical systems (training can be provided).
  • Fluent in Tamil (mandatory); English proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Field-based sales role with daily travel within Salem and nearby areas.
