Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Solar Site Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power projects in Mumbai. The candidate will ensure the site work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage solar PV system installations on-ground or rooftop.
- Conduct site surveys and assess technical feasibility of solar projects.
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams for project execution.
- Monitor the progress and quality of installation activities on-site.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Manage subcontractors and labor workforce at the site.
- Test and commission solar plants, ensuring performance parameters are met.
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance of solar systems post-installation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar project execution (freshers with strong practical skills may also apply).
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical circuits, and energy conversion principles.
- Proficiency in using tools such as solar design software (PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus.
- Familiarity with local electricity board regulations and net metering.
- Willingness to travel and work at remote project locations across Mumbai.
Skills Required:
- Project coordination and site supervision.

- Communication and team management.
- Basic MS Office and AutoCAD knowledge.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and worksite discipline.
Preferred Attributes:
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
