Job Summary:
The Helper – Solar Maintenance will assist technicians and engineers in the upkeep and routine maintenance of solar power systems, including cleaning panels, performing basic inspections, and supporting troubleshooting activities. The role requires physical work in outdoor environments and a willingness to travel to solar sites within Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean solar panels regularly to maintain optimal performance.
- Assist in inspecting solar PV modules, cables, inverters, and structures for damage or dirt.
- Support technicians during repair and replacement of components.
- Carry tools and equipment to and from site locations as required.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times.
- Help maintain site cleanliness and equipment storage.
- Report any issues or observations to the supervisor or technician.
- Cooperate with the team during emergency maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 8th / 10th pass (higher education is a plus).
- Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical tools (training provided).
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot and dusty conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Prior experience in solar cleaning or construction work is preferred but not required.
Preferred:
- Residence near the project site or within Maharashtra.
- Marathi language speaking ability.
- Availability for flexible work hours, including weekends if required.
