Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager – Solar Energy to lead and deliver solar EPC projects across Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu. The role involves full project ownership, including planning, execution, team coordination, quality assurance, and client communication for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complete project lifecycle management—from design and procurement to execution and commissioning.
- Create project schedules, budgets, manpower plans, and material procurement lists.
- Supervise day-to-day activities on multiple solar sites to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate between design engineers, procurement teams, and on-site supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and environmental norms.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and local authorities (TANGEDCO, CEIG) for project approvals and inspections.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures proactively.
- Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior management.
- Ensure system testing, commissioning, documentation, and project handover.
Required Skills:
- Proven track record of managing MW-scale solar EPC projects.
- Strong technical expertise in solar PV systems, grid synchronization, and SCADA systems.
- Proficient in project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
- Excellent leadership, resource management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Tamil Nadu solar policies, net metering, and CEIG approval processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Knowledge of energy storage solutions and hybrid solar systems.
- Fluency in Tamil and English is essential.
