Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to join our growing renewable energy team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting solar energy solutions, and driving sales for rooftop, commercial, and residential solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, online channels, and local networking.
- Conduct site surveys and gather client requirements for solar panel installations.
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and explain available products and solutions.
- Prepare and present customized quotations, system proposals, and ROI analysis.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for solar installations.
- Follow up with prospective clients and close deals effectively.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist clients with documentation related to solar subsidies, loans, and net metering.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales, preferably in solar or energy sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical details and explain them in simple terms to customers.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic digital marketing.
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license is a must.
Preferred Candidates:
- Prior experience in selling rooftop solar solutions (residential or commercial).
- Knowledge of Bangalore’s local solar market, pricing, and subsidy policies.
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems and energy saving benefits.
