Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar energy solutions across Odisha. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to identify and close sales opportunities in the residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through field visits, cold calling, and networking.
- Present solar solutions tailored to customer needs, including system size, cost, savings, and ROI.
- Conduct site visits, coordinate with technical teams for feasibility assessments.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Handle inquiries related to government subsidies, net metering, and loan/EMI options.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain client relationships and follow up on leads, payments, and after-sales support.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments in Odisha.
- Participate in promotional events, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns.
- Report daily/weekly activities and progress to the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in B2C or B2B solar or electrical product sales.
- Knowledge of rooftop solar systems, net metering, and basic system design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Odia, Hindi, and English.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office skills.
- Own two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory for field work).
- Willingness to travel across districts in Odisha.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in solar product/solution sales (rooftop, hybrid, or off-grid systems).
- Understanding of DISCOM procedures and OREDA subsidy schemes.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and customer service abilities.
