Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Solar Sales Executive to promote and sell solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Trichy and nearby regions. The ideal candidate should be skilled in direct sales, client engagement, and basic technical understanding of solar energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and digital inquiries.
- Conduct site visits and understand customer energy requirements.
- Present tailored solar solutions and prepare quotations, ROI calculations, and proposals.
- Follow up with prospects and convert them into sales.
- Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys and system design.
- Stay updated with government subsidies, net metering processes, and local policies.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and report to the sales manager.
- Build long-term relationships with customers for repeat and referral business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Any graduate (Engineering/Science/Commerce background preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in B2C or B2B sales; experience in solar, electrical, or energy solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and TANGEDCO procedures is an advantage.
- Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel within Trichy and nearby areas.
Skills Required:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic technical understanding of solar components and systems (training can be provided).
- Fluent in Tamil (mandatory); basic English preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Ability to use smartphones, Excel, and simple CRM tools for reporting.

- Field-based role involving regular travel within Trichy and surroundings.
