Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Solar Technician to join our team in Kerala. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial clients. This is a hands-on field role that requires technical knowledge, practical experience, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install rooftop or ground-mounted solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, mounting structures, and wiring.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of installed solar systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in solar systems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
- Conduct testing and inspections to verify system functionality and compliance.
- Work with engineers and supervisors to execute project plans efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and electrical standards.
- Prepare basic reports or checklists after each service or installation.
- Provide basic customer support and education on system usage and maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy-related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical maintenance (freshers with training may be considered).
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and electrical connections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiar with tools like multimeters, crimpers, drills, etc.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage.
- Valid two-wheeler license preferred.
