Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in residential, commercial, and industrial locations in and around Madurai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar panel installation, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and system performance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV panels, inverters, mounting structures, and wiring systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, cleaning, and performance testing.
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems including inverters, junction boxes, and panels.
- Assist in system commissioning and ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Perform system performance monitoring and data logging.
- Maintain detailed records of installations, inspections, and maintenance work.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective gear at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar PV system installation or maintenance.
- Knowledge of solar system components such as inverters, batteries (if applicable), and grid connections.
- Familiarity with MNRE, TANGEDCO, and other regulatory standards is a plus.
- Basic understanding of tools, wiring diagrams, and electrical testing equipment.
Skills Required:
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic communication skills in Tamil; understanding of English is an advantage.
- Team player with a safety-first mindset.
Work Conditions:
- Field job with frequent site visits in and around Madurai.
- Must be flexible to travel and work extended hours if needed.
- Personal safety equipment will be provided.
